  1. Prepare Your Video: Before uploading your video, make sure it is in a supported format (MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, etc.). Also, ensure that your video follows the YouTube Community Guidelines.

  2. Upload Your Video:

    • Open YouTube and log in to your account.

    • Click on the camera icon at the top right of the page and select 'Upload Video'.

    • Select the video you want to upload from your computer.

    • While your video is uploading, you can add a title (max 100 characters), description (up to 5000 characters), and tags (keywords that will help people find your video). This is also the time to select the video’s privacy settings:

      • Public: Anyone can see your video

      • Unlisted: Your video will not appear in search results, but anyone with the link can view it.

      • Private: Only you and the people you select can view your video.

  3. Customize Your Video: Once your video has been uploaded, you can customize it further by adding end screens, cards, subtitles, etc.

  4. Publish Your Video: Once you have added all the necessary information and customized your video, click 'Publish'. If your video is set to 'Public', it will now be live on YouTube. If it is 'Unlisted' or 'Private', only people with the link or those you have selected can view it.

  5. Share Your Video:

    • After publishing your video, you will be directed to a page with a shareable link. Copy this link.

    • You can share this link via email, social media, messaging apps, etc. Just paste the link into your message.
